The Business Gateway service in Clackmannanshire is delivered by Ceteris on behalf of Clackmannanshire Council.
Business Gateway provides free information, advice and guidance to individuals wishing to start their own business or develop their existing business.
Business support within Clackmannanshire Council is provided by Clackmannanshire Works which is part of the Council's Economic Development Team.
Clackmannanshire Works can offer free bespoke one-to-one business start-up advice and support with growing existing businesses. This support is additional to that already available from either Business Gateway or Scottish Enterprise.

Scottish Enterprise work with businesses across Scotland to stimulate economic growth and improve the business environment. Through their account management programme, they work with companies to understand the business issues they are facing and then help them to develop solutions or opportunities for their business.

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is the UK's largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small businesses. FSB provide a wide range of business services to members of the FSB.
Established in 2007, Clackmannanshire Business is designed to foster more effective collaboration between Clackmannanshire Council and the local business community by working with the Council to address what is important to local businesses.
Clackmannanshire Business provides networking opportunities and supports the existing Business Improvement Districts (BIDS) and explores the potential for further BIDS.

ATC Ltd is the Business Improvement District (BID) for Alloa Town Centre. ATC Ltd works with local partners to improve the trading environment for businesses within the BID area whilst contributing to the wider regeneration of Alloa Town Centre.

This is the Business Improvement District (BID) which covers 10 business parks throughout Clackmannanshire. The Clacksfirst BID works collectively with occupiers, property owners and key partners locally to develop initiatives that will create a safer, cleaner and more attractive business working and trading environment.
Clacksfirst also sponsors Imagine Alloa, a marketing project tasked with attracting investment to Clackmannanshire and supporting local companies seeking to move to premises within the area.
