Draft Vision

We want Clackmannanshire to be a great place for children and young people to grow up, by ensuring they achieve the best health outcomes and experience a happy and safe childhood.

We want to support children and young people to improve their wellbeing, and to have positive learning and development opportunities that enable them to move forward confidently into adulthood.

Draft Priorities

Children and young people living in Clackmannanshire have the

  • best possible start in life
  • grow up healthy, confident and resilient
  • have skills for life and learning
  • are safe from harm

Draft Principles

Partners will ensure that our work is driven by

  • a focus on prevention and early intervention
  • a rights based approach
  • a commitment to addressing inequalities
  • a commitment to actively involving and listening to children, young people and their families
  • integrated services are co-designed around family needs

Draft Action Areas

Partners have identified the following priority action areas for Clackmannanshire:

  • Attainment, opportunities and life skills for children and young people
  • Outcomes for children and young people who are looked after and/or leaving care
  • Outcomes for children and young people (and their families) who are living in poverty
  • Health, wellbeing and safety of all children and young people living in Clackmannanshire
