The first stage of the consultation asked if the boundaries for each community council reflect natural communities of people and what membership numbers should be. The first stage is complete.
The second stage asked for suggestions for other content of the Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils. The second stage is complete.
The current stage asks for final comments on amendments made to the proposed Scheme. The third stage has begun.

Your comments are invited on the amendments which have been made to the Scheme since it was drafted in June.
Submissions to this consultation should be made by the 1st March 2018 in writing.

The Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils is the document which sets out the governance framework for all community councils in Clackmannanshire. It also includes a description of community council boundaries, how many members each community council has and what the population of each community council area is.
Clackmannanshire Council agreed at its meeting on 12th of January 2017 to undertake a public consultation exercise on the contents of a new Scheme.
