Education Service Plan 2017/18 - Towards Excellence

The Scottish Government requires all education authorities to prepare and publish a plan to address the priorities in the National Improvement Framework for education.

Clackmannanshire's Education Service has set out in the 2017-18 plan the steps they will take to improve in 4 key priority areas to achieve excellence and equity.

  • Improvement in attainment, particularly in literacy and numeracy
  • Closing the attainment gap between the most and least disadvantaged children
  • Improvement in children's and young people's health and wellbeing
  • Improvement in employability skills and sustained, positive school leaver destinations

You can read the full plan below. There is also a summary leaflet showing our current data, key priorities and the support put in place to help staff deliver improvements.

You can also view a YouTube animation containing the key messages from the plan.
