Ochil Carers is a support group for relatives and friends of people with mental health problems. The group offers carers the opportunity to be supported and informed about various mental health problems. This could include: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder (manic depression) and psychotic illness (schizophrenia).
We are keen to hear your views on the Integrated Mental Health Service as feedback from both users and carers is central to the development of an appropriate service.
For more information, please refer to our leaflet Support for Carers, Relatives and Friends.
We run a 4 week educational carers course for relatives and friends of people with mental health problems.
This course runs twice a year in the Spring and Autumn. If you are interested in attending this course, please contact us using the details below.
If you are close to someone with a mental health problem, Time and Space may be of help to you.
If you would like some support from a peer mentor, wishing you could speak to someone who 'gets' what you are going through, then you are not alone. With Time and Space, you can meet someone else living locally with similar experiences.
Time and Space also provides unique volunteering opportunities where you can use your experience to help other mental health carers by becoming a Peer Mentor.
