Advice and Information for Tenants

Following the most recent government and health advice, we’ve changed the way that the Housing service operates.  This means that:

  • home visits and inspections have been suspended
  • an essential repairs service only is running
  • all non-emergency face to face meetings have been suspended

We will continue to provide an essential service to our tenants and other service users by changing the way we work and this will involve concentrating on non-face to face contact such as text messages, email and phone.

We are prioritising our services to those experiencing homelessness, particularly those requiring temporary accommodation. We have identified these key areas of service delivery in line with Scottish Government guidance, and will therefore be focusing our available resources on:

  • Homeless Assessments
  • Provision of Temporary Accommodation

If you are homeless, or need somewhere to stay urgently, please call 01259 225115.  If it is an emergency situation when the office is closed please call 01259 450000.

Rent payments

If you usually pay your rent at the office then please use one of the following alternative methods of payment:

  • Direct Debit
    • Set this up online by visiting our Set up Direct Debit page, or
    • phone 01259 450000 and we will set this up for you
  • Online
  • At any Paypoint
  • By debit or credit card over the phone
