Unless you pay by Direct Debit, Council Tax is normally paid in 10 monthly instalments from April to January inclusive.
Instalments are shown on your bill. You must make payment on or before the 15th of each month from April to January inclusive. If payment is not received by the 15th of the month you will get a reminder notice.
By setting up an automated monthly Direct Debit payment from your bank account your council tax will always be paid on time and you won't receive any arrears notices. It is also the only way to spread the payments over the full financial year.
